Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, packaging, labeling, inventory handling, and deliveries. The ideal candidate should have warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, and strong attention to detail.
This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Perform packaging and labeling of products accurately.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with inventory counting and stock management.
Deliveries & Logistics:
- Assist with local deliveries and pickups as required.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Verify shipping documents and packing lists.
- Coordinate with warehouse manager for daily shipment schedules.
Equipment Operation:
- Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Move materials and inventory within warehouse.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Required:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Experience in packaging, labeling, and shipping.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills (for shipping and inventory systems).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
